After a year of moderate use the case shows no wear and has protected our projector very well.

Okay for use with Optoma ES522

by I. Gould from Cincinnati, OH on 2009-11-19
I bought this case because Amazon said customers purchasing the Optoma ES522 (ES522 DLP Proj SVGA 3000:1 2800 Lumens 5.5LBS Cr 4K Hrs Lamp) frequently bought it, and it looked to be about the right size. As far as I can tell, Optoma has not yet come out with a case for the ES522, so it is good to have something. The inside of the case can be customized with the adjustable partitions they include, but the fit was not quite as snug (especially depth-wise) as I would like. There is no outer pocket, but with my projector everything fits next to it on the inside. There is a thin zippered pocked on the inside of the lid that will hold another cable that as long as it's not too bulky. All in all, it's a decent, compact case for the Optoma ES522, but nothing to get too excited about. If I find a better case, I'll probably buy it and return this one (and edit my review).[UPDATE: 6/15/10] Optoma now has a case specifically rated for the ES522, and an Amazon seller carries it at a good discount over Optoma. (Optoma BK-4023 - Projector carrying case) I haven't tried this one, but it looks like a better.

carrying case for in focus projector

by Lloyd L. Lehn from Northern VA on 2009-09-12
This is a very nice carrying case for the projector with one major fault. The bad is too small. I cannot use all the fancy packing that came with it nor can I carry a light weight extension cord in it. I need to use a second bag. However, it is much better than the paper thin bag which came with the projector itself.

Too Small

by Weekend Woodworker from on 2009-09-12
I too found the bag to be too small to carry the cables and power cord. The carrying bag that came with the InFocus IN2102EP projector is adequate and has plenty of room for the cables. Don't waste your money on this accessory. It isn't worth it.

FIne prodect but not what I needed

by W. Dudley from on 2008-04-20
I brought this along with my InFocus IN24+ DLP Projector so I could have a the convenience of a carrying case. The description claimed it would fit this particular unit in it. The issue I had was the IN24 fit with little room to play, but now include the remote, cables and power cords and you see the case is too small. Not what I expect.

Perfect fit soft case for LP130

by David Bowers from Weare, NH United States on 2010-05-23
Good quality, perfect fit for the purpose intended. The LP 130 by InFocus is an excellent portable projector and the case is it's equal.

Looked Good

by A. Woldman from on 2010-02-23
This looks like a good case but unfortunately it did not fit my projector. The interior dimensions on this case were 13 x 8 x 2.5.

Great Case

by Chase Grisom from Wilkes Barre, PA on 2008-07-12
This is a great case. Purchased for my LP70+. Case form fits to the projector, and the unit appears well protected.Only one complaint, the side section for cable/remote storage is just slightly to small - another inch of space would have been a small sacrifice in weight & size to give just a little more room. Also, if you are using any other presentation remotes, probably will have to keep them with your laptop bag - no extra room here.Still gets a five star from me - does what it needs to do - and does it well.

Excellent Bag

by D. F. Martin from Georgia on 2010-07-08
I really like this bag. A friend of mine had one just like it and after borrowing it and his digital projector, I knew it was the bag that I wanted when it was time for me to buy one. The quality is excellent and protective of the projector. There's also room for either speakers of a laptop or whatever else you need to carry with it. Also a large zippered pocket to hold cords and other items needed. Best of all it's on wheels with a retractable handle making travel a snap. It's a winner.

poor construction, bad zippers and chunky interior

by Kristoffor Benson from Prince George, British Columbia Canada on 2009-02-18
This product looks great on the outside, but once you open it up and start trying to use it, you'll find that it is poorly designed -- the telescopic handle cuts into usable space in the projector compartment, the velcro straps to secure items constantly stick to the inside of the bag, and the zippers seem to be among the worst quality I've seen on ANY bag, let alone a $100 one.It is a lot of bag without a lot of storage.

Excellent carrying case

by David Levy from Fort Washington, PA USA on 2005-06-10
It will hold a new model Dell laptop and a HP 450 mobile printer without any problems. It is solidly made.

It is exactly what I was looking for and everything the description says I was going to get. 100% satisfied with this product.

Rolling computer bag

Not big enough for the printer that I had to put in place of the projector. Very nice bag for what it should be used for.

Designed for Slim Projectors

by Voiceguy from Los Angeles, CA on 2008-10-08
The construction is good, and there certainly is no shortage of pouches and compartments. The wheels are a nice size (not too small), providing a stable ride even on rough or uneven surfaces. The handle telescopes smoothly and is easy to extend or retract with one hand. When retracted it is completely out of the way.The main padded interior area is in the form of a clamshell design, with a zipper around three sides. The projector goes on one side of the clam shell, held in by four wide padded Velcro belts as well as a locking web belt; the laptop goes on the opposite side, held by X-shaped stretchy belts along with another locking web belt. Two zipper pouches inside will hold small accessories such as a computer mouse, laser pointer and remote control, power brick, etc. These pouches are held in by Velcro, which allows them to be positioned wherever the user chooses, or removed altogether if preferred. In addition, there is another zippered area that will easily hold a ream of paper (handouts, etc.) or other large articles, or perhaps a change of clothes. A smaller zippered compartment will hold power and video cables and a couple of locking security cables for the equipment. This compartment has stitched slots for marking pens and other small office supplies. My only complaint is that the projector compartment is obviously designed for relatively skinny projectors. My Viewsonic PJ551D, even though it's only a bit over 4 inches tall, does not fit properly -- it's too tall. It is possible to stow it in this case with the wide Velcro straps only, but the locking belt is too short to close over it even at its longest adjustment. The case is usable this way but not particularly elegant. On the whole, though, a nice case with lots of room for all sorts of stuff. If the projector capacity was better I would have given it five stars.UPDATE: I discovered that what I understood to be a security strap for the projector on one side of the clamshell is actually designed to mate with the corresponding strap on the laptop side of the clamshell, in order to keep the clamshell from falling all the way open when it is unzipped in the upright position. Thus, both of my references to "locking web belt" above are incorrect; these belts are intended for a different purpose. There is no problem with this as the other straps holding the projector and laptop in place are quite adequate. The Case Logic web site states that this case is designed for projectors up to 2.6" tall. A quick check of a major online computer retailer's web site revealed that no one is making projectors this slim any more, at least not in XGA models and above. The skinniest one I found was over 3 inches tall, and the great majority come in around 4 inches or slightly more. Thus, Case Logic's assumption about projector sizes seems to be obsolete. I am hopeful the company will tweak this design in the near future to reflect the current market. As I stated above, however, it is possible to accommodate today's chunkier models in this case; it just doesn't look as neat as one would like.

Compact Versitile Laptop/Projector Case

by Vernon Miller from Aurora, CO United States on 2008-09-03
I found the Case Logic to be well organized and plenty of options for my laptop and projector. I am a seminar instructor who travels on airplanes alot and found it could fit in the overhead space very well. The only down side for me is that I would have liked it a little larger.

Great Laptop Projector Combo Case

by N. Richardson from Bozeman, MT USA on 2008-05-25
I now have two of these for work (I checkout laptop and projector setups for the office) and these work great. Often when someone checks one out they end up requesting to purchase one. These make airport and frequent travel /presentations a breeze.
