I was happy and thought of myself as brilliant until it was time to close everything down for storage. Lo and behold, the screen casing would not align properly to the middle stand so I can't latch it together and carry properly. I just use the big screen for movies though.It pulls down easily to the same spot each time so no fiddling with getting the picture centered and goes back up smooth as silk. I like the idea of an electric, remote controlled screen, but for only $100 for this manual model you can't beat this with a stick. Dimension published on manufacturer's web site does not include this screen model but I was able to guess it based on similar model with black case (This model has white case and image published by Amazon on product page is misleading). I have been using this screen almost daily since last two weeks- opening, projecting movies on it and closing, and so far its performance has been solid. Picture is vivid and sharp. I really don't know any other way to evaluate the projector screen. I bet more knowledgeable folks would have better technical feedback however it does get two thumbs up from me. "Common Sense" of course the company is not going to supply hardware, there are so many uses for this product, some people might use this product at a workplace or school, some might use this product at home like I did and others might use this product for other uses. How is the company suppose to know what you need and what your ideas are? Even if they happend to supply every piece of hardware that they think you need, this would cause the price to increase and all the people already complaining to complain more because of higher price so Get Over it!!I went to my local Home Depot and bought a box of 2 1/2" dryway screws and 4 washers, I had my 92" screen up in 10 minutes, Its honestly not rocket science. Several people who have left reviews for this product have complained because it doesn't provide any mounting hardware. The problem with this is the company would have to provide hardware for so many different applications because they don't have a clue as to what kind of material your going to be mounting it to. As for me the wall was made of wood and I purchased 4 lag bolts for about a dollar. This worked great. It hold the screen great and I have had no problems what so ever. Missing hardware? by M. Burkett from on 2009-05-21 The support were strong and enabled the 70in screen to be mounted and clear the curtain rods in our living room. Easy to put up and use. The downside is that it does not come with any mounting screws or anything. It took me some time to find the right screws to use and appropriate washers. Unless you can screw into wood studs you need to get some screw in fastners with about a 3inch screw. However, what I did not find specified was that the brackets are actually plastic. I used two brackets to hang a screen which Da-lite claims is almost exactly 75 pounds and these brackets began to sag, so I did not use them. I think they should have a lower weight rating.

The first two basically never worked; it's really easy for these to be damaged in shipment (big dent on one). The third one, however, I installed in January '09 and it worked fine . . . until May. Today, it failed to respond to the remote - it's dead now, just like the first two. I know from efforts with the first two that there are no user-serviceable parts, so it's a write-off. Since there's no way to lower the screen manually, I can't even do that. Very disappointing; I won't be ordering another. The screen tilt keystone adjustment is limited, but it does assist in overcoming this effect. Having a projector with this adjustment is better. The image is clear, crisp and can be viewed easily, even near 180 degrees from the screen. There are more heavy duty screens available, but for a light easy to transport and setup screen, this one works great. I have found the fasteners to be sturdy and not prone to failure. I took the screen off the wall and took one of the end caps off, the side that dosnt have the wind mech on it. I was surprised to find that the female part that holds the spindle was broken before then glued. Very cheap. I am not going to go through the bull of sending this thing back so I re-glued with some strong epoxy. Dont buy from this company. It has "keyholes" for hanging it on a wall as well as steel loops for hanging from a ceiling or other such vertical installation. The retraction mechanism has worked flawlessly so far.
